UBC has a legislated responsibility to safeguard any Personally Identifiable Information (PII) of its students and staff. UBC Policy #104 (“Acceptable Use and Security of UBC Electronic Information and Systems“) defines the responsibilities of Arts ISIT in maintaining and reinforcing the university’s Information Security Standards, as outlined by the Chief Information Officer. These security standards and their related resources have been reproduced below for your reference.
