ShowMe
Create whiteboard annotation videos all on your iPad.
ShowMe is a simple whiteboard annotation iPad app designed for educators and classroom use. Users can create videos by drawing and adding text annotations while recording audio over their content. ShowMe has free and paid versions available for download on the App Store.
Software Features (Free Version)
The free version of ShowMe can only upload videos to showme.com. The free cloud storage is limited to 5 uploads and 1 draft of up to 1 hour of footage.
Recording
- Use backgrounds for your whiteboard animations, like graphs, grids, and music sheets.
- Import images from Google Images, your camera, or iPad photos.
- Record audio to support whiteboard animations.
- Draw or add text while recording.
- Prepare several slides before recording if necessary.
Editing
- Re-record audio.
Exporting
- Upload videos to showme.com.
Software Features (Paid Version)
The paid version of ShowMe ($9.99 USD per month) has these additional features and benefits:
- Create ShowMe courses, which includes creating student accounts, study groups, and student analytics.
- Google Classroom integration.
- Up to 100 minutes of auto-generated captions.
- Up to 50 hours of cloud storage on showme.com, with unlimited number of uploads and drafts.
- Private link sharing of videos.
- Download ShowMe videos as MP4 and pages as PDF.
- Share videos to Facebook, Twitter, or by email.
